Scientia Psychiatrica (SciPsy) publishes original research articles, case reports and case studies, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses for an international scholarly audience.

Initial manuscripts are submitted by email and assessed editorially within 1–3 days. Manuscripts that pass screening are registered in OJS and undergo double-blind peer review by three independent reviewers. Articles are freely available immediately upon publication under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. Authors retain copyright.

Scientia Psychiatrica is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are available immediately and permanently, without subscription, registration, payment, or embargo.

Unless otherwise stated, articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). The license permits users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given, a link to the license is supplied, changes are indicated, and adaptations are distributed under the same license.

Copyright and reuse

Authors retain copyright. Authors grant Scientia Psychiatrica a non-exclusive right of first publication and permission to identify itself as the original publisher. No separate permission is required for reuse that complies with the license.
