AUTHOR RIGHTS

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright in their articles.

By publishing in Scientia Psychiatrica, authors grant the journal and its publisher a non-exclusive right of first publication, the right to publish and identify the journal as the original place of publication, and the right to distribute the Version of Record with complete citation metadata.

Published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), unless an article clearly states otherwise.

Permitted reuse

Users may share and adapt an article for non-commercial purposes when the author and source are credited, the license is linked, changes are identified, and derivative works use the same license. Uses outside these terms require permission from the copyright holder.

Author distribution rights

Authors may share the submitted manuscript, accepted manuscript, and Version of Record in repositories and on personal or institutional websites without embargo, with acknowledgement of first publication in Scientia Psychiatrica and a link to the article DOI.

Website copyright

Copyright notices in the website footer apply only to the journal name, logo, layout, and publisher-owned website materials. They do not transfer copyright in individual articles from their authors.
